The Amity Affliction has shared a second new song – Feels Like I’m Dying – from their anticipated new album, Misery (out Aug 24). Feels Like I’m Dying is accompanied by an official music video that is streaming now at www.theamityaffliction.net. Written and co-directed by the band’s own Joel Birch, the clip follows the official video for MISERY’s lead single Ivy (Doomsday), and marks the second chapter of a three-part short film chronicling a dark tale of three friends and their quest for vengeance.
Recorded earlier this year in Baltimore, MD with producer Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, Ariana Grande, Underoath), Misery is the long-awaited follow-up to The Amity Affliction’s acclaimed fifth studio album, This Could Be Heartbreak that debuted at #1 on the ARIA chart in August 2016 and entered among the top 30 on the U.S. SoundScan/Billboard 200. This Could Be Heartbreak was The Amity Affliction’s third album to debut at #1 on the ARIA chart following Chasing Ghosts (2012) and Let The Ocean Take Me (2014).
The Amity Affliction will celebrate Misery with an epic tour schedule, with a North American run as part of the milestone final Vans Warped Tour 2018. Those dates began on June 21st at Pomona, CA’s Fairplex and continue through early August. From there, The Amity Affliction will head to Europe for a headline tour slated for stops in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Norway, and Belgium.
