Joining forces with Gypsy and Inner West rock demons Release The Hounds, The Grand Union continue the build up to their album launch bringing their idiosyncratic rock edge to a formidable line up this February.
Having honed their sound playing in some of Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong’s hottest live music venues The Grand Union have become their very own Tour de Force. Their bio includes performing with The Prehistorics, Shinu Gnu, The Deadset, Psychic Sun, Fox Company to name but a few, and supporting Japan’s The Deadvikings on their 2017 Blitzkrieg Tour.
With a sound akin to the musical equivalent of an Army Doll dressed in a Barbie bikini with its limbs torn off, The Grand Union has a deep-seated reverence for songcraft which is both bombastic and an avalanche of melody.
There will be a limited number of free samplers cds and t-shirts available – a valuable addition to serious aussie music diehards
