Brisbane, Australia post-alternative rock outfit Between Kings have had a very busy 12 months releasing their debut album, The Escape via Regime Music Group to much critical acclaim, playing a stack of shows and being involved in charity work through Youngcare
The band have released the first single “When We Were Kids” from their upcoming new album due later this year.
“This song is a love letter to the feeling of nostalgia,” commented Between Kings about the track. “It journeys through young love and feelings of reminiscing and sentimentality as it closes the chapter to a part of life we can all relate to. We tried to capture those emotions on ‘When We Were Kids’.”
Filmed at a sold-out show in Between Kings’ hometown of Brisbane, the video was directed by Toronto’s Reel Wolf Productions and take’s listener’s back to a time of youthful innocence.
Between Kings have also just signed to the Pushworth Music Group who will be booking all their live shows!
