Caligula’s Horse announce “Let It Grow” tour dates

Australia’s foremost authority on progressive rock, Caligula’s Horse, have announced the Let It Grow tour for August.

The tour will celebrate their cult classic The Tide, The Thief & River’s End and breakout progressive masterpiece Bloom by playing them back to back!

River’s End, released in 2013 featured the single, Dark Hair Down, the video for which is closing in on 150 000 views! 2015’s Bloom saw Caligula’s Horse reach truly a global audience for the first time, with the album being released by European prog powerhouse label, Inside Out. The album featured music videos for Firelight and Turntail both clips are now closing in an a quarter of a million views!

Frontman Jim Grey comments: ‘After the Love Conquers All tour when we played In Contact in full, we were inundated with requests for full performances of River’s End and of Bloom. So to celebrate the 5th birthday of these two albums that helped shape who we are as a band, we thought we’d go all in and play them both back-to-back. It’s going to be a beautiful night of nostalgia for all of us, and I’m sure there are plenty of die-hards out there who can’t wait to chuck a cheeky mosh to some OG C-Horse material.

As with their previous tours, Let It Grow will feature a 60 minute guitar masterclass from Sam Vallen and Adrian Goleby. These events will be jam packed with information and entertainment. Sam and Adrian will interview each other and go over their guitar techniques, approaches and rationale to songwriting, production tricks, their live touring experiences, and of course their extensive gear!

Let It Grow will be the first headlining tour from Caligula’s Horse in a year. Last seen on Aussie stages as part of the epic line up led by Ne Obliviscaris in May, Caligula’s Horse spent all of October and most of November 2018 playing to their ever growing European fanbase.

Its time for the band to play for their Australian fans once again before heading into the studio to record the follow up to their biggest album to date, In Contact.
