CHILDRAIN is gearing up for the international release of their 4th album THE SILVER GHOST on 29 March 2019. As a means to introduce this album to the metal community, the band now releases a somewhat unusual video for the first track WAKE THE GHOST.
The video has been produced by Joseba Elorza, who is, among others, known for his illustrations for clients like Wall Street Journal, Esquire or Hollywood Reporter and animations for National Geographic, Green Day and Berri Txarrak. Also known under his artist name MiraRuido, he is making a living with his unique brand of digital collages and illustrations to create signature vintage images. By reconfiguring senses and meanings into a coherent remix, he creates new sensibilities, new spatial associations and surreal universes.
The opening riffs of WAKE THE GHOST brings a feeling of a cold breeze, nature and the closeness of the Atlantic ocean, before it explodes with a groovy, heavy and technical guitar assault and catchy vocals. The song describes a journey of an errant soul through time and space, trying to discover its true nature.
Meanwhile CHILDRAIN is confirmed to tour Europe with SIX FEET UNDER in April. Confirmed dates so far are:
