Echo Del Tusker release new single & video “Gold In The Silver”

Echo Del Tusker

After receiving glowing reviews for their debut EP “Words To Live By,” Echo Del Tusker
return with a brand new single Gold In The Silver out today. The track was recorded at Lighthill Sound Recording in Melbourne with producer Ricki Rae, and the band will once again partnered with Scenestr Mag to exclusively premiere the single and video on Thursday, 25th July.

The song carries a very important message to band members Brendan Forward and Estelle Artois – who co-authored the track. “Gold In The Silver is about being in a place in your life where you might actually be doing pretty well but are not able to realise it. We can sometimes fall into the trap of looking at where we want to be or at what other people are doing, and lose sight of how good our own life really is.” Says Forward. Artois adds, “Sometimes ‘coming first’ doesn’t equate to ‘winning’. That message really hits home for me every time I sing the song.”

Echo Del Tusker came together when four Rock ‘n’ Roll lifers, Estelle Artois (lead vocals & guitar – ex-Tequila Mockingbyrd), Brendan Forward (guitar – ex-Massive), Mick Quee (bass – ex-Dead City Ruins) and Jarrod Medwin (drums – ex-Massive), all found themselves musically single and unattached at the same time. When you blend the styles and sounds of Artois, Forward, Quee and Medwin you get Echo Del Tusker: music that contains fragments of rock, blues, garage and R&B – or as guitarist Forward has labelled it “guitar-driven soul rock.”

In the band’s first year on the scene, Echo Del Tusker have already played dates with Rose Tattoo and Dallas Crane, toured VIC-NSW-WA, been featured on Triple M, partnered with Scenestr Mag for a pair of single releases, received international radio play including the US and UK and been featured in Classic Rock Magazine, The Music AU, Amnplify, The Rockpit and on The Hard Rock Show to name just a few.

Echo Del Tusker’s Gold In The Silver is out now and available on all major digital music outlets via GYROstream (AU).
