Echo Del Tusker – Words To Live By (EP)

March 1st saw Melbourne based Echo Del Tusker release the wonderful debut EP ‘Words to Live By’.  In addition to the band’s first two singles, ‘Can’t Keep Your Man’ and ‘Fix Your Face’, the EP includes live favourites ‘Endless’, ‘The World is Yours’ and ‘Colour of Love’. The CD version of the EP, available at shows and in the band’s Big Cartel merch shop, contains two exclusive bonus tracks – acoustic performances of ‘Fix Your Face’ and ‘Endless’.

Echo Del Tusker has blended bluesy, ballsy rock with power vocals & mighty riffs that leave you wanting more.  ‘Endless’ is the stand out track for me in this collection of strong songs and if this is what we are to expect from these guys then I thoroughly look forward to an album release with baited breath in the future.

Echo Del Tusker are Estelle Artois (Tequila Mockingbyrd), Mick Quee (Dead City Ruins, Hailmary, Cicadastone), Brendan Forward (Massive) & Jarrod Medwin (Massive, Dellacoma, Cicadastone) creating music that contains fragments of rock, blues, garage and R&B – or as guitarist Forward has labelled it “guitar-driven soul rock.” Despite still being a relatively new on the scene, Echo Del Tusker has already received glowing reviews for their live sets having played shows in Melbourne, WA and soon head to NSW for three more live appearances.

You can catch the band on tour in NSW in March:
March 14th @ Hideaway Bar (Newtown)
March 15th @ Stag & Hunter (Newcastle)
March 16th @ Frankie’s Pizza (Sydney)
