Glenn Shorrock, Hayley Jensen and Steve Balbi take part in new Rock ‘n’ Food TV series

Always thinking outside of the box when it comes to creating different ways of marketing and promoting its artists across all its labels, Golden Robot Global Entertainment recently launched a film and TV production division to handle the many ideas currently in development.

The first project underway is a TV series called “Rock ‘n’ Food” where an artist showcases their favourite bar, café or restaurant, taking the viewer on a culinary journey of their favourite dish, their best fast-food experience, why they love food and its importance in their daily lives, as well as the memories it can evoke.  At the same time, we discover new things about their music, their history and how their success – and failures – have shaped them.

Filmed on location in Sydney and LA by Vincent Stone of Short Black Films, with five episodes now finalised, (three of them featuring Social Family Records artists, Glenn Shorrock, Steve Balbi and Hayley Jensen), this fly on the wall concept is the brainchild of and hosted by Golden Robot Global Entertainment’s CEO and founder, Mark Alexander-Erber. Bringing his unique relationship with each artist onto the screen, “Rock ‘n’ Food” is a new way to have a sneak peek into the lives of some of our favourite artists.

We are always looking at unique and innovative ways to promote and market our artists worldwide to a broader audience,” says Mark. “I thought of this new concept late last year coming back from LA and within a few months we had filmed 5 episodes. I love the angle, the fly on the wall chat.  It’s a great vehicle for social/digital platforms.”
