Good Things Festival Welcomes The Butterfly Effect To The Line-Up

The Butterfly Effect

Good Things Festival, Australia’s favourite alternative east coast summer music festival is almost upon us and we’re thrilled to announce the addition of The Butterfly Effect to the line-up.

After an 11-year gap, The Butterfly Effect will be performing their first festival appearances.

“More than bristling at the chance to play alongside our great mates Karnivool, on a great bill full of amazing bands for a huge festival. Good Things will rock! Things have never been better in the Butters camp; we are ready, willing and super stoked to be a part of such a massive line up and we are ready for more Good Things.” says The Butterfly Effect vocalist, Clint Boge.

He adds, “If someone had of told me that more than six years after leaving the band we’d be back together, stronger than ever and playing Good Things, I’d have told them they were dreaming 😛 But here we are. I never thought I’d be playing another show with The Butterfly Effect let alone a festival like Good Things, it’s f#cking huge, I’m stoked, what can I say?

There is no other place I would rather be, than sharing the stage with such an amazing line up. Australia has some of the most dedicated festival fans I can’t wait to get amongst it. We’ll see you there.”

After a 5-year hiatus and since the release of their 2008 album Final Conversation of Kings, The Butterfly Effect released their new single, Unbroken in August, which topped the AIR charts and fuelled a run of sold-out shows around the country.

Through the course of their phenomenal career, The Butterfly Effect excited fans and brought venues and festivals to life with their three massive albums (all certified Gold), one incredible EP that introduced the world to the band, six consecutive years with triple j Hottest 100 entries, ARIA chart placements, triple j One Night Stands, Big Day Out main stage spots, overseas tours, DVD Documentaries, countless tours and so much more.

Due to scheduling conflict, The Damned Things will no longer be appearing at Good Things Festival.
