Brisbane’s own pirate metallers, Lagerstein, are offering up the first touch of pure gold from their recently announced ‘25/7‘ album – with a brand new video & single “Dig, Bury, Drink!“, with pre-orders for the album available now through the band’s website and the single available now through all digital stores/streaming platforms.

Wednesday 12th June at 4pm AEST will also see the band launching a treasure hunt at their brand new site partytimesahoy.com for the songs from their record. Essentially, the Pirates got pretty much black-out drunk to celebrate the end of the mixing and mastering process – and lost the masters – so now, they need the internet’s help to find the clues to the trail to find the record so that it can be released intact on Friday August 23! Punters need to sign up at the site in order to be fed clues as to where they might be able to hear more of the record on the pirate’s journey to August 23…

Dig, Bury, Drink!, the first cut from the band’s third studio album has Captain Gregarggh singing, “Rum on every island, our best idea yet / No matter where we sail, the party is set”, boasting to listeners all across the lands of the seven-piece party pirates’ mantra. The party horn will be sounded Tuesday 11 June – when triple j’s The Racket will spin the track loud and proud.

Captain Gregarggh, The Majestic Beast, Neil Rummy Rackers, Mother Junkst, Jacob, The Fiercest Pirate in all the Caribbean, Lucky The Great and Rusty Timbers make up Lagerstein, and this fearsome band of buccaneers unveil their new single just in time to unleash it on the crowds of Europe’s renowned Sabaton Open Air and Wacken Open Air festivals.

The upcoming studio album ‘25/7’, promises to deliver a glittering treasure trove of twelve jaunty, colourful and undeniably boozy sea shanties. Serenading their love of rum, drunken parrots and drinking from shoes, ‘25/7’ will be a coveted keepsake for any self-disrespecting, yellow-toothed swashbuckler! Available for pre-order now is the ‘25/7’ “Ultimate Party Pack” which includes an album Digipak with a treasure map booklet, an album design T-Shirt, a personalised signed photo, a “Stein & Crossbongs” Frisbee, a Lagerstein patch, two stickers, a digital goodies bundle and exclusive access to a new song taken from their upcoming album.

Having hit the studio earlier this year to record in Sweden with world famous producer Fredrik Nordström (Bring Me The Horizon, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Soilwork), Lagerstein’s upcoming album will be sliding into port on Friday 23rd August 2019 via Kegstand Records. ‘25/7’ boasts traditionally seaworthy instrumentation, scored with modern, distorted guitar work and coarse vocal outbursts that continues the seven-piece act’s legacy as one of the greatest “party bands” of modern metal. Take it from them, they Party All The Time.

Lagerstein took to social media to confirm that the artwork of ‘25/7’ has been dug up from the deep ahead of the album’s summer release date. The “party pirates” are also currently engaged on their huge “Endless Rum” Tour, which takes the band across Europe, UK and Australia (stay tuned for dates!), with plans to continue partying their way across the globe to share the fun and joy of the pirate’s life with landlubbers and sailors the world over!

Banding together in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Lagerstein dreamed of being a pirate metal band on a never-ending voyage to rock stages, create catchy music and have the best time, all the time. In the 9 years since, the seven-piece act have become an emerging hit, equally well-known for their unmistakable brand of catchy party tunes and a hugely entertaining live show of legendary proportions.

“Dig, Bury, Drink” is out now to stream and purchase at all good online outlets and streaming platforms. ’25/7′ pre-orders live now at www.lagerstein.com/lagershop. Clues and Treasure can be found at partytimesahoy.com from 4pm AEST Wednesday 12 June. Tickets for Lagerstein’s ‘Endless Rum’ tour can be purchased directly from the band’s website.
