Saturday night at Amplifier Bar saw Amberdown launch their brand new album “Four Years” with support from Hailmary and Wing It.
Having shared the stage with Mötley Crüe and Alice Cooper, Perth four-piece Amberdown are capable of holding their own next to rock’s biggest icons. Imaginative, confident and stunningly precise, their music takes searing vocal melodies and wraps them in layers of highly intense music that can shift from ethereal to crushingly heavy in the blink of an eye. After a run of successful singles and EPs, Amberdown have now unleashed their first full-length album – the highly-anticipated Four Years – on which they strive to new heights in realising their grand artistic vision.
Hailmary are a world class rock outfit out of Perth that delivers intricate slabs of grungey rock that packs a punch. Having toured internationally including Europe and the US and supporting Ugly Kid Joe in the UK and extensively hitting the road in Australia with the likes of Superheist and Fuel, Hailmary have earned a reputation as being one of the countries hardest working bands.
Fellow local rockers Wing It return for a one off show after calling it a day a few years back.
