MelodicRock Fest announces new venue in Melbourne for huge lineup in 2020

Melodic Rock Fest 2020

MelodicRock Fest 2020 now has a home!

Already boasting an impressive line-up including Eclipse, Enuff Z Nuff, Paul Laine, White Widow, BB Steal, XYZ, Reckless Love, FM, Crazy Lixx, Ron Keel, Kip Winger, Janet Gardner and a host of other local and international artists, organisers have been holding out in an attempt to secure a venue fitting of such a spectacular event.

The National Theatre on Carlisle Street, St Kilda provides everything capable of hosting such a diverse and musically rich festival and we are proud to announce it as the venue for MelodicRock Fest on 6,7,8 March 2020.

Since opening its doors in 1921 as The Victory Theatre, The National Theatre has hosted a multitude of local, national and international showcase events ranging from theatre to opera to musical performances.

It historically links the cultural hubs of Saint Kilda in the 1920s with the bustling beachside community we know today, and it’s easy access to the city and accommodation makes it the ideal location to stage the first annual MelodicRock Festival.

In 1972 the theatre underwent extensive renovations, transforming it into a professional theatre for live shows and in recent times has hosted productions of the calibre of Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar and Swan Lake.

Now you can add MelodRock Fest 2020 to the list of impressive achievements.

If Melbourne is the entertainment capital of Australia then The National Theatre can soon lay claim to hosting the best Melodic Rock Festival this country has produced.
