Hard Rock and Fifties Rock’n’Roll in ONE Song? Can this even work? Of course it can!

With their collaboration song, “Cadillac Maniac”, Kissin’ Dynamite and The Baseballs deliver the stunning proof that even in 2019 it’s possible to create a bold and surprising musical fusion that manages to impress with its sheer refreshing otherness. But how did the spectacular collaboration come about? Both bands originate from roughly the same corner in southern Germany and so it was only a matter of time before the musicians came across each other. “It started out as a project mixing our sound. The result is a high-energy earworm that does not leave the ear canal so quickly”, explains Kissin’ Dynamite singer Hannes Braun.

In their respective genres, both formations have long been among the big, established players: The Baseballs sold nearly two million albums over the past decade, winning 21 gold and platinum awards and playing over 500 live shows in 26 countries with more than three million enthusiastic spectators. For more than ten years, Kissin’ Dynamite have been one of Germany’s most important hard rock bands, and undertook sold-out concert tours around the world (including Europe, Japan and Ukraine). Last year, the band signed a major deal with Sony Music label Columbia Records and reached the top ten of the Official German Charts for the first time with their sixth album Esctasy. At the Metal Hammer Awards 2018, Kissin’ Dynamite were honored in the category “Best German Band”.

Endseeker

Endseeker have released their new full-length, The Harvest, via Metal Blade Records – plus, a new video for the record’s title track, which can be seen here.

To purchase a copy of The Harvest, please visit: metalblade.com/endseeker

Since 2015, the name Endseeker has stood for the finest Swedish styled death metal from Hamburg, Germany. Hard as a fist and uncompromising like binge drinking on St. Pauli – but with a big chunk of heart and soul to it.

For The Harvest, Endseeker worked once again with Eike Freese (Heaven Shall Burn, Deep Purple, Gamma Ray), the same producer behind their 2017 debut album Flesh Hammer Prophecy. The album was laid down at Chameleon Studios, Hamburg, and it was described as “a painless, pleasurable process for all.” Everything on The Harvest feels natural, the songs flowing freely without being predictable, and doing the maximum amount of damage as they thunder from the speakers.

The band adds: “The new album provides a lot of diversity and surprises. The vocals are varied and the melodies are catchy, but it’s still far away from mainstream. You can hear the influential heritage but we hopefully also added some new and relevant flavor to it.”

RAM

RAM have unleashed their new album, The Throne Within, via Metal Blade Records.

Additionally, the band has debuted a new video for the single “Spirit Reaper”, which can be seen here.

“I wanted to write a song that sounded like it was the soundtrack for an 80’s horror movie, so we did. And when we had it, we felt like we had to make the movie that was the soundtrack for it, so we did that too. This is the ultimate horror short movie music video!” – Oscar Carlquist

There can be few better ways to mark the 20th anniversary of your band than releasing the finest record of your career. In RAM’s instance, this comes in the form of The Throne Within, the Swedish quintet upping their game across the board to deliver a record with deep roots in classic heavy metal but wielding an energy and freshness to it that places it very much in the now. “It is unmistakable RAM, there are fast songs, heavy songs, mid-tempo and slower tempos as well. There’s melody and there’s grit. The arrangements are recognizable but some may be unorthodox,” states founding guitarist Harry Granroth.

“This is a monumental album for us, and I am certain for our fans. We have worked very hard to bring our sound, songwriting and playing to the next level without leaving our Black Path of Heavy Metal Tyranny,” says vocalist Oscar Carlquist.

Entrails - Rise Of The Reaper

On October 11th, Entrails will release their new album, Rise of the Reaper, via Metal Blade Records.

For a preview of the record, the new single, “The Pyre”, can be heard here.

To hear the previous single, “Crawl In Your Guts”, please visit: metalblade.com/entrails  – where Rise of the Reaper can also be pre-ordered

Entrails formed in 1990/91. Their goal was to follow the scene that Stockholm brought to light around the time with bands like Dismember, Entombed, Grave and many more that cemented the brilliant Swedish death metal sound from T. Skogsberg’s Sunlight studio.

For their latest opus, Rise Of The Reaper, Marc from Art Wars media design created the cover art and layout, while Dan Swanö handled mixing and mastering duties. Dan brought back the massive wall of sound that Entrails is known for. Fans can expect another classic album from the group, with touring to follow in late 2019 and beyond!

Syberia

On October 4th, Barcelona’s Syberia will release their third album, Seeds Of Change, via Blacklight Media / Metal Blade Records.

Syberia craft intricate and involving instrumental rock opuses, and they have never sounded more assured than on Seeds Of Change. Following in the footsteps of Caspian, Mogwai and Russian Circles, their instrumental works are complex yet instantly accessible, weighty, gorgeously melodic, and always deeply moving.

For a preview of Seeds Of Change, a live video for the album’s title track can be viewed here.

The previously released video for “Empire Of Oppression” can be seen at:
