Miami-based Danish-Colombian rock duo, BlueAshes are pleased to release the new video for their single “Walking Solo“, which premiered on Pure Grain Audio. Inspired by the summer landscape of Denmark, the video pays homage to lead singer Shila’s home country by providing an aerial perspective of the hills and forests of two Danish cities, Kirke Såby and Herstedhøje.
Walking Solo is from the duo’s debut 5-track EP of the same name which was released in April 2019. Featuring four hard-hitting rock songs and a sentimental country-rock ballad, the EP strikes a balance between Alexis’s aggressive guitar licks and Shila’s powerful rock vocals.

BlueAshes is a Danish Colombian pop-rock duo formed by Shila Mariposa Zuniga (Denmark) and Alexis Zuniga (Colombia). The musicians met “accidentally” on Facebook and fell in love, and their incredible chemistry shines through in their music.
Shila and Alexis are no strangers to the music industry. Individually, each artist has had substantial success in their respective countries through composing and recording radio hits, in addition to performing and touring with their own projects at prestigious venues. Now, together the experience has its own flavor: Music with a lot of personality from both worlds. As a duo, they have released several music videos that have racked up nearly 50,000 views on YouTube. Their infectious, hard rock music also earned rotations on radio stations, such as WMFO 91.5 FM in Boston and Rockline Radio in Colombia.
