Amberian Dawn

Amberian Dawn Release New Single & Lyric Video “United”, Lord Of The Lost Releases New Official Video for “Ruins” from Chart-Breaking Album Thornstar, Unleash The Archers Release New Lyric Video for “Heartless World”.

AMBERIAN DAWN have just released their first single, “United”, from the upcoming album, Looking For You, along with a lyric video that takes the listener to a futuristic world of the 80’s and synthesizer music, mixed with familiar metal sounds. “United” and its detailed lyric video reflect the deeper meaning of the album concept.

The song combines elaborate arrangements with glorious, majestic melodies, while the lyrics proclaim an unambiguous statement:

“We’re all together and we are standing tall.
United we stand
Divided we fall”

AMBERIAN DAWN will release their eighth studio album, Looking For You, on January 31st 2020 and enter a new, but still familiar sounding, musical universe mixing the best of both worlds into a new genre: ABBA-Metal! The new album is packed with well-polished and immaculate songwriting full of catchy melodies and epic keyboard parts that immediately send shivers down your spine.

The multi-faceted and emotional lyrics provide a suitable background for soaring guitars and elegant classical interludes: a highly addictive cocktail that is being topped off by a cover version of ABBA’s “Lay all your love on me”!

Since their music changed from Power Metal to Symphonic Metal over the last years, AMBERIAN DAWN are now navigating into yet another new style, which is even more melodic, keyboard driven and influenced by the Swedish band ABBA. Therefore, they’ve been working closely with award-winning Finnish artist Kebu for over a month, to create the ingenious keyboard sound that can be heard on the recording.

Lord Of The Lost

LORD OF THE LOST release their eighth video from the chart-breaking album Thornstar – “Ruins”. Having shot the video in Guadalajara, Mexico on a day-off on tour, the video takes place in a country that has seen a big part of their Aztec culture disrupted. The local community didn’t let that keep them from striving and growing into something entirely new though, and ultimately became the country they are today. “Ruins” captures this fighting spirit wonderfully, shining a light on seeking grace and good things in the wreckage and that life and beauty can still grow from “Ruins”.

With “Ruins”, LORD OF THE LOST do not only deliver their – believe it or not – eighth music video for the #6 chart success album Thornstar, they also show how to use day off days on tour in a sensible way. The video for “Ruins” was directed during the Thornstar-Tour on a free day in Guadalajara, Mexico. There couldn’t have been a more suitable place than the cradle and legacy of the past high culture of the Aztecs to frame this song.

Thornstar is a modern metal album with industrial and dark rock elements. It was released in August 2018, reaching #6 on the German charts. After releasing, the band followed up with a tour all around the globe, but they’re not finished yet! In celebration of their tenth anniversary, LORD OF THE LOST will play four special shows in Hamburg from December 6th to 9th, 2019. The first two will be normal concerts, while the last two will incorporate a classical ensemble into LORD OF THE LOST’s repertoire. The first three shows are completely sold out already and only a few tickets remain for the last one.

Unleash The Archers

UNLEASH THE ARCHERS strikes a chord with emotional power ballad “Heartless World”.

In “Heartless World”, UNLEASH THE ARCHERS show the world what they are made of. The band manages to give the original glam metal track by Teaze an unexpected, modern power metal twist. Combining that with an astonishingly wide range of vocal melodies, UNLEASH THE ARCHERS surprise and bewitch the listener yet again. A clean guitar intro makes you feel almost melancholic, but when the second chorus hits, at the very least, you’ll be tapping your foot. “Heartless World” describes how everything can become too much from time to time, and that sometimes all you need is to unplug and recharge your energy. Watch the lyric video accompanying the single below and lose yourself in an FM headphone high!

UNLEASH THE ARCHERS on “Heartless World”, fresh off the new EP Explorers:

“The second single is a cover of a song by a Canadian hair metal band from the 80’s called Teaze. They are not super well known, but that’s why we gravitated towards them. The song “Heartless World” has a really interesting arrangement and can’t seem to decide if it’s a ballad or a rock opera. Unlike “Northwest Passage”, where we played around with it quite a bit, we left “Heartless World” almost completely as is, and only changed a few small things like solos and vocal melodies.  We thought it would be a great companion piece to “Northwest Passage” and really round out the moody Explorers vibe.”
