Grand Magus

GRAND MAGUS to release »Wolf God« on April 19th, 2019/reveal cover artwor, IN FLAMES launch lyric video for new single ‘Burn, PRISTINE release brand new single, album available for pre-order

Grand Magus - Wolf GodThe riff gods are back! A little more than two years have passed since the great »Sword Songs« album was released, but GRAND MAGUS can never quench their thirst for action. Accordingly, the Heavy Metal giants started to develop new songs as fast as possible after their last record.

The new album “Wolf God” will be released on April 19th, 2019 via Nuclear Blast!

»Wolf God« rises over the Heavy Metal scene majestically and lets the guitar riffs speak for themselves. The groove and heaviness that were featured on the successful predecessor can also be found on the new, ninth studio album which once again holds a number of future classics.

This stunning new cover artwork was created by acclaimed artist Anthony Roberts.

The band comments:
“For the third time, the magic skill and imagination of Anthony Roberts has given birth to the cover artwork for a Grand Magus album. This time the forest, the moon and obviously the wolf take center stage. Not just any wolf though… beware his fury. This is the WOLF GOD!”

Recorded in Sweetspot Studio in Sweden, together with producer Staffan Karlsson (ARCH ENEMY, FIREWIND, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS), the corner stone was laid for another triumphal procession. As the majority of the songs were recorded on the first take, they have an honest, diverse and yet down-to-earth sound that envelops the trio’s true power.

More info coming soon. Stay tuned!

Pristine

Norway’s finest rock outfit, PRISTINE, has released the brand new track, ‘Sinnerman’, as well as the accompanying music video. The track comes off the band’s highly anticipated new album, Road Back To Ruin, and can be watched HERE.

Commented singer and main songwriter Heidi Solheim: “We are very excited about releasing the first single from our upcoming album »Road Back To Ruin«! The song ‘Sinnerman’ is the first track on the album and we wanted to have a different approach on this video than on our previous releases. Our video producer from Amodei Visual came up with a story filmed in a POV (point of view) perspective and we absolutely loved it! A fun idea and an unusual video for a rock band. The count down to the release date on April the 19th has begun!”

Road Back To Ruin is slated for release on April 19, 2019 via Nuclear Blast and is now available for pre-order as stream/download, CD and vinyl (black, blue) via this link.
