Rags N Riches frontman Scott Ginn will release his third solo album in March 2019. ‘Only the quick and the dead‘ is the follow-up to his 2015 release ‘At the brink of eternity‘ and the 30th anniversary CD release of his 1986 ‘One Man Army‘ LP. Ginn’s solo work is released under the Mazz-XT moniker and songs from these albums are featured as part of the Rags N Riches live set.
‘Only the quick and the dead’ will feature 12 new recordings mostly written in 2017-18. “It’s a gradual process introducing a new act to music fans and comparisons can be a dangerous thing, but if you love the old school classic rock sound of albums like AC/DC’s Powerage, Def Leppard’s High and Dry, and Bad Company’s self-title debut then what Mazz-XT has to offer is definitely gonna stimulate your rock n roll appetite.”
‘Only the quick and the dead’ will be available in digital format and as a limited edition CD from the Mazz-XT Music Bandcamp site and directly from Utopia Records.
