Rocket Science announce ‘Snake’ tour and new single ‘I Hate Hate’

Rocket Science

It’s been 10 years since their last album and Rocket Science are back from outer-space: tougher, wilder and sharper than ever with their new long player SNAKE due for release on August 16, 2019 through It Records.

This new record sees Rocket Science back and in sharp form. A fusion of post-punk, psych and garage, SNAKE describes a decaying post-postmodern world, railing against the system like all good rock’n’roll should.

Rocket Science will celebrate the release of SNAKE with a run of east coast shows, pushing the new material further out with their billowing live sound, evergreen energy and a deep commitment to existing in the present.

I Hate Hate’ is the badass second single from SNAKE. An ‘ode’ to the Outrage Industrial Complex penned by bassist Dave Gray, who incidentally delivers a bassline that will scorch your ears. A sneering malediction with a beat you can dance to. It’s a high energy, garage-punk punch up. Dig it.

‘Dave penned the classic and brutal – ‘I Hate Hate’. We are a collaborative band and any band member can present a song for consideration during the recording process. When Dave delivered ‘I Hate Hate’ it was unanimous that it should be included on the album. We spent considerable time on the guitar sound to give it a serious punch. I did my VOC in one take and Dave’s blistering bass is a contender for any Ian Svenonius (The Make-Up) new and up and coming project in any city… anywhere…’ Roman Tucker
