Stormrider Touring presents the annual Stormrider Heavy Metal Festival! Returning for it’s 6th year in a row, this year is no exception in bringing Australia’s best Heavy Metal bands to the west coast for a night of unforgettable head banging action.
Headlined this year by the mighty LORD from Sydney, we say Welcome Back after having the guys at our 2nd ever Festival back in 2015. Formed in 1989 as Dungeon, LORD are one of Australia’s longest running and most successful melodic metal acts. The guys are poised to release a new album sometime soon following the release of the new single earlier this year; Untied (Welcome Back), so we are hoping for a few new treats at the show!
Silent Knight are Perth’s favorite Power Metal sons with a high paced and energetic stage show. The guys are currently working on a new album and perhaps some new songs to be debuted at the festival!
Truth Corroded are a Death/Thrash outfit from Adelaide and have just come off a European tour with Misery Index following the release of their latest album Bloodlands. The guys were last in Perth for Metal United Down Under in 2016 and can’t wait to return!
Melbourne’s Orpheus Omega are definitely the rising star of Australian Metal over the past few years. National tours with legendary acts Trivium and Wintersun have seen them on the biggest stages across Australia and Asia. A new album titled Wear Your Sins came earlier this year and a new stage show to boot!
Divine Ascension makes their first time west after a long time waiting. This world class Progressive Metal band has toured Europe with the likes of Stratovarius and Gloryhammer and domestically with Blind Guardian. This is a performance you will not want to miss!
Opening the event will be new Perth outfit Diamond Sky who channel the golden era of Rock n Roll to create triumphant & powerful Heavy Metal anthems!
