The Wiesbaden hard rockers THE NEW ROSES set out to climb Rock Olymp with their fourth album “Nothing But Wild”! After excessive worldwide touring with genre legends like KISS and before the summer tour with the SCORPIONS this summer, the foursome around singer and guitarist Timmy Rough returns with the long-awaited successor of One For The Road (2017), which landed in the top 20 of the German charts.

Now THE NEW ROSES release the first single of their new album “Down By The River” – the ultimate soundtrack for a rocky summer! Singer Timmy Rough about “Down By The River”: “The band grew up mostly in the Rheingau. So it’s only natural that we spent the summers of our youth at the river. A six-pack, a cassette recorder and a girl you could fall head over heels in love with… and the river. That was all we needed. We put this attitude to life into the song and maybe he will now come himself from some radio on some river and belong to someone’s soundtrack Summer…”
With their song “Without A Trace” THE NEW ROSES landed on the US cult biker TV series “Sons Of Anarchy” and delivered the song for the “Sons Of Anarchy” trailer campaign in Germany.
After intensive touring in the past years, THE NEW ROSES 2019 belong to the very few new rock bands from Germany that have managed to position themselves internationally. THE NEW ROSES have appeared over 300 times on the club and festival stages all over Europe. Among the highlights are certainly the shows at HELLFEST (FR), SWEDEN ROCK (SE), MASTERS OF ROCK (CZ), HARDROCK HELL (UK); WINTERSTORM (UK), UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FESTIVAL.
In November 2018 THE NEW ROSES started their first US live activities. As the first German band ever THE NEW ROSES were invited by the KISS management to THE KISS KRUISE, which led from Florida to the Bahamas.
THE NEW ROSES stands for authentic “Working Class Rock Music” that puts the song and the connection to the audience at the center of its creative work. Through various influences from Classic- and Hardrock to Country and Blues this independent sound is created, which clarifies: That’s what stadium rock sounds like today!
With their two albums “DEAD MAN`S VOICE” (2016) and “ONE MORE FOR THE ROAD” (2017) THE NEW ROSES placed themselves in the top 20 of the German album charts and received top international reviews in the rock press.
With more than 6000 plays, the three single releases “Life Ain`t Easy”, “Every Wild Heart” and “One More For The Road” have been a constant hit on German rock radio stations since August 2017 and are now part of the regular programme of the local rock stations.
From May 2019 on THE NEW ROSES will be on stage for special guest shows with KISS and the SCORPIONS before the festivals.
In spring 2019 THE NEW ROSES recorded their new album “NOTHING BUT WILD” which will be released worldwide on 02 August 2019 and will be accompanied by an extensive European tour. During this tour THE NEW ROSES will make a 6 day trip to the USA, where they will play as the only European band in the THE KISS KRUISE 5 shows on the way to the Bahamas and Jamaica.
