UK Extremists Anaal Nathrakh announce first ever Headline Australian tour

with Guests Hybrid Nightmares

Anaal Nathrakh

UK black hearted extremists Anaal Nathrakh will descend on Australia in early March for their first ever Headline tour.

The band released their latest terrifying slab of hatred, A New Kind Of Horror, in September of 2018 and it was hailed as some of their best work ever.

Anaal Nathrakh was created for one purpose – to be the soundtrack for armageddon, the audial essence of evil, hatred and violence, the true spirit of necro taken to its musical extremes. Since being founded in 1999, the band has gained a reputation for embodying precisely these things, with a history including not only the release of a plethora of albums to rapturous acclaim, but collaborations with such legendary figures as Attila Csihar (Mayhem), Shane Embury and Danny Herrera (Napalm Death), Nick Barker (Testament, Dimmu Borgir), Joe Horvath (Circle of Dead Children), Sethlans Teitan (Watain) and so on.

Anaal Nathrakh’s status as one of the leading lights in extreme metal is undeniable.

Uniquely hallmarked by breathtaking musical ferocity, inventiveness and breadth, married with mercurial, intensely misanthropic and sharp intelligence, Anaal Nathrakh’s sound is imbued with a palpable sense of menace that is virtually unmatched in metal.  Of their live performances, Terrorizer Magazine have said ‘Anaal Nathrakh leave no room for dissention or ambivalence when they hit the stage. And when Dave finally shouts out that immortal quote about humanity’s inevitable downfall, you fucking feel the boot slam down on to your neck’.

When writing about A New Kind Of Horror in the record’s liner notes, Anaal Nathrakh vocalist Dave Hunt is succinct in his description: “This is not a happy album, it is bitter, vengeful, sarcastic, sardonic, violent, terrified and horrified, terrifying and horrifying in equal measure. Above all, it is human, and all that that entails. It’s as sincere as we could make it.” Those exposed to the ten tracks comprising the band’s tenth full-length will be unable to deny the truth to these words, for lyrically, musically and sonically it is a punishing listen mired in darkness and seething with raw emotion.

Joining Anaal Nathrakh are Australia’s very own astral extreme-metal titans, Hybrid Nightmares with their new release “Obelisk”.
