The annual WAMFest across Perth is set to launch this week with The Rockpit presenting this year’s heavy music event at Amplifier Bar this Friday night which is also free entry!
The show will feature some of the top heavy acts in Perth including Illyria, Tempest Rising, All This Filth, Electric State and introducing Human Effigy who replace Psychonaut who unfortunately have to drop out.
WAM is honoured to be continuing their partnership with Healthway to promote and integrate the Act-Belong-Commit message across WAMFest 2019. Increasing awareness and developing strategies to maintain good mental health are vital to a flourishing music community, with the A-B-C guidelines providing a simple approach we can all adopt in our every-day lives. WAM is excited to present an opportunity for Artists, music fans and the broader public to actively engage with this message during WAMFest 2019, by performing and attending showcases, connecting with the community around us, and celebrating music in a shared and meaningful way.
