The Eaglehawk Football and Netball Club as well as the Eaglehawk Cricket Club have come together for On The Wing Festival on October 19th in Bendigo, Victoria to develop a community music festival to thank the community for their continued support over the last 100+ years.
This event is also designed to instil as strong sense of community within Eaglehawk. On The Wing Festival brings Australia’s best musical talent together with some very talented local artists in a festival atmosphere in front of 2500+ people on the wing in the shadows of the historic Vahland Grandstand at Canterbury Park.
Included on the lineup is Australian music superstars Jon Stevens and Killing Heidi, as well as talented local artists Taylor Sheridan, Fountaineer, Dez Band, and Toli Wanefalea. Also available will be food trucks attending the festival to provide a delicious range of food and beverages
The aim with this festival is to thank local businesses and community members and groups who have supported the sporting clubs, as well as create a vibrant and engaging community atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
