AC/DC celebrates 40 years of “Back In Black” with new video series

Aussie rock legends AC/DC have launched a new video series in celebration of the 40th anniversary of their iconic album “Back In Black“.

The series takes a look at the album making, stories and more with episode 1 focusing on the hit track “You Shook Me All Night Long”. Watch the first episode below.

“Back In Black” was released on July 25th 1980 and went platinum in only a few short months. It also marked the first album without former singer Bon Scott who passed away only a few months prior.

“Back In Black” is widely regarded as one of the top albums from the group who’s status and popularity only grew further from the album’s release on.

Currently there are rumors that the band, together with vocalist Brian Johnson are back in the studio working on their next album. Their last album “Rock Or Bust” was released in 2014 with a subsequent world tour including Australia in 2015.
