Bad Actress are a hard-hitting blues infused rock band, with a healthy dose of eighties glam. They pump out riffs inspired by the likes of AC/DC, ZZ Top, Mӧtley Crϋe, Aerosmith and Mӧtorhead.
Bad Actress have had a busy couple of years, in 2018 they released their first single ‘Actin’ Like an Animal’ and accumulated a total of 23 live shows that year, including an explosive opening set at the two-day rock festival Monsterfest, headlined by The Dead Daisies. This hungry young band didn’t slow down as they released their first EP ‘Low Down and Dirty’ with a music video for the title track song, which perfectly captures the energy and essence of the band.
2019 saw the band win Hi-Hub Scotland’s ‘Rock Factor’, they performed at the legendary Bon Fest as well as being asked back to headline the warm-up event for MonsterFest. They featured at a number of motorbike rallies and completed their own mini-tour in support of the EP.
Now into 2020, This award-winning young band from north Scotland has over 40 live shows under their belts, and have launched their first new single of the year ‘High Speed Heartbreak’ available now on all major streaming platforms and for digital download at badactressband.bandcamp.com.
