Band of Missfits to release new single ‘Crickets’

Band Of Missfits

Perth four-piece Indie Pop Rock band, Band of Missfits release their long awaited single ‘Crickets‘ and there is certainly no awkward silence as the new track is already making a lot of noise even before it’s release, which is scheduled for the 28th of November.

With powerhouse vocalist Kym Redmond out front & centre and backed by the super-tight rhythm section of Paul Smith (Drums) and Lee Matheson (Bass), Band of Missfits have gone from strength to strength, drawing the crowds to their live performances and with the addition of Jake Bignell on lead guitar the band have soared to new heights in 2020.

Band of Missfits have once again been working under the watchful eye of producer Sean Lillico down in the beautiful south west corner of Australia in Yallingup.  Sean has been the band’s engineer & producer for all of their previous recordings.  Kym met Sean when she was working on the ‘Sounds of Tom Price’ compilation CD back in 2012.

Following their WAM Award nominated Grunge single, ‘Higher Passage’, taken from their second EP of the same name back in 2018, the band have continued to play shows all over Perth and beyond, establishing themselves as one of the city’s hardest working Rock bands and sharing the stage with some of Western Australia’s finest acts.

A launch party to celebrate the release of ‘Crickets’ will be held at The Bassendean Hotel on the Friday 27th of November with supports from Electric State, Filth Wizard and Here Comes the Rooster. Tickets are $15 at the door, event page here.
