Canada rock act The Carbons release new video for “Superheroes”

The Carbons

Forged in Western Canada, The Carbons are a rock trio known for their multi-climactic live shows, deep powerful vocals and huge groovy drums. Off-stage, The Carbons can be found shredding some gnar, ripping through waves, and revving motorcycles through the Canadian Rockies. They often end the day with a craft beer in hand, a movie quote battle and depending on the number of beers, a lengthy conversation about all the world’s problems. So it’s only fitting that they release this new track and video titled “Superheroes” that, despite written 2 years prior, showcases the new fight the world finds themselves in.

The band comments: “We sometimes lose hope in humanity by watching the news but these last few weeks have been nothing short of miraculous.

“Superheroes” was written in 2018 to inspire people to fight the fears that hold us back from becoming the best version of ourselves for our family and for our community. After re-recording in 2019, we were finally ready to release. Then March 2020 happened and much like everyone else, we pumped the brakes on everything and decided to hibernate until further notice.

Less than 2 weeks after that decision, a collapsing world that closed borders, schools, venues, and offices, has inspired heroes of all kinds to emerge out of the darkness. People all over the world have literally turned into superheroes by staying home, washing their hands, doing groceries for elderly neighbours, thanking essential workers, raising money, singing from their balconies, and the list goes on. It’s clear now that this song belongs to them and to anyone still waiting to be inspired. Thank you all.”
