Following the release of their debut album “South Of Everything” in 2015, Dellacoma toured extensively across the USA, UK and Europe. In 2019, after several line-up changes lead singer and namesake Dellacoma Rio took the bold step of taking a year off the road with his band to focus on writing & recording the songs that would become the second full length album. Together with guitarist/songwriter/producer and dear friend Voya (Bad Moon Born, Catalano), Rio has been hard at work carefully crafting and concocting the follow-up to his 2015 debut album.
The highly decorated Noel Tenny (White Widdow, Australian INXS Show) has jumped on board to record drums on the album, while Voya will be handling guitar and keyboard duties in the studio. This record will also feature several of Rio’s long time pals as guests in the studio on selected tracks.
Production is set to wrap up in later this year with pre-release copies of the album to be sent out in September 2020 and official public release of the album slated for late 2020/early 2021.
To help support the album, Dellacoma Rio has set up a Kickstarter campaign with pledgers able to donate at various levels and be rewarded with things such as downloading the new album, physical copies of the album on CD or limited edition signed vinyl and even an exclusive on-line private acoustic show.
