Ex-Noiseworks, Dead Daisies & INXS front man Jon Stevens will be alongside his son Levi when they take on the enduring Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea from March 9 – 19 as they aim to help raise much needed funds for 4ASD Kids, a charity that provides direct funding to programs, children and families’ to assist in the development of children with Autism.

The challenge will see Jon & the rest of the team tackle the 96km trek in eight days, as they aim to reach the target of $50,000 to help support the charity, which was set up ten years ago by Jon’s friend, former Rugby International & Australian Survivor All-Star Mat Rogers & his wife Chloe.  Stevens, who was recently given the all clear by his heart specialist to undertake the trek, after undergoing double heart bypass surgery back in 2009, famously posted the quote, ‘Don’t take anything for granted folks.  Live, Love & Laugh and be all you can be!’

This is the perfect warm-up for Jon, as The Rockpit understands he is soon to announce another countrywide tour to follow up the hugely successful Noiseworks & INXS collection shows that sold out venues across Australia in 2019.

The Rockpit are proud to stand alongside Jon in his support of such a worthy cause and would ask any of our readers who would like to donate to click on the link below.  We wish all the team every success in their challenge.
