Lachy Doley drops much-anticipated ‘Voodoo Child’ single after video hits 4 million views

Lachy Doley

The year 2020 marks 10 years for Lachy Doley as a solo artist. In 2010 Lachy was Australia’s top session keys man for the likes of Powderfinger and Jimmy Barnes. Come 2020, he’s become a globally celebrated original recording and touring artist. A regular on the European, Canadian and US summer festival circuits leaving rave reviews and viral live videos wherever he performs.

Long being referred to as “The Jimi Hendrix of the Keys”. Now further reinforced by his extremely rare Whammy Clavinet that wails and screams all over this new version of Hendrix’s VOODOO CHILD leaving many guitar players either in disbelief, a wild enthusiasm or often a mild rage.

Just recently a small clip of Lachy in the studio laying down the Clav on this release emerged and instantly went viral around the world recording a staggering 2.3 million views in just one week, making this most anticipated Lachy Doley release in his career. To match this amazing response multiple Grammy Award-winning mastering engineer Bob Ludwig and superstar mixing engineer Kevin Shirley were enlisted giving this release the truly world-class sound it deserves.

Along with Lachy’s previous single release GIMME SOME LOVIN’, VOODOO CHILD will be part of a remastered 10-year retrospective album titled DOUBLE FIGURES due out on October 13 on Vinyl, Cd and all digital platforms.
