Melbourne alternative metal act Cirrus Crown release new single and announce launch show

Cirrus Crown

Melbourne based Alternative Metal band Cirrus Crown have released their powerful new single ‘The Hardest Truth’.

The band have also announced their single launch show that will be held at The Workers Club on Jan 31 with support from Arcane Saints, Terrestrials and Formiles.

Cirrus Crown, a weather phenomenon associated with thunderstorms, is a metaphor that perfectly encapsulates the band’s energetic, dynamic, heavy and ambient music. The band’s sound is hard to pin down to any particular influence; however, there are evident shades of Karnivool, Gojira, Dead Letter Circus and Cog. Their songs “utilise dynamics and ambience to provide contrast to the pulsating heaviness” and take the listener on a highly dynamic ride.

Cirrus Crown features a strong lineup consisting of vocalist Markus Saastamoinen (Degrees of Separation), guitarists Pete Borzeta (Acolyte, Fading Hour) and Ross Niven (Fear is a Liar), bassist Matt Manders (Orsome Welles) and drummer Lorne Lippiatt (Alpha Remedy).

New single ‘The Hardest Truth’ is available for download on all major online stores.
