Melbourne rockers Torrential Thrill release new single ‘Itch’

Torrential Thrill

Melbourne’s hard rock juggernaut Torrential Thrill are pleased to announce the release of their second single ‘Itch’ from their as yet untitled forthcoming third album, on 28th July.

Formed in 2013 in Melbourne Australia, Torrential Thrill has quickly evolved into Melbourne’s premier hard-hitting, hard-knocking, hard rock band.  Approaching Matt D’Arcy (The Basin Records) in 2014 to record their debut album ‘MARS’, and again in 2017 to record the follow-up, “Nothing As It Seems”, the four-piece announced themselves onto the Australian Music scene.  To compliment the two albums, TT have filmed and produced 4 video clips for singles “King of the Road”, “Waking the Neighbours”, “Nothing As It Seems” and “Animal (Like Me)”, and played dozens of Melbourne and Victoria’s prime live music venues, supporting local, interstate and international artists.  The band shared the stage with Chris Jericho’s Fozzy during their 2018 tour of Australia for the “Judas Rising” World Tour and continue to knock on the door as available support for many more international touring artists.

In 2019, Torrential Thrill began pre-production on their third album, and in October last year, released the first single and the band’s fourth video clip, “Animal (Like Me)”.  The band has recently partnered with wrestling giants PCW Australia and opened the 2020 PCW Grandslam event, the biggest ever local wrestling event in Victoria, playing host to more than 2000 people.

Covid-19 is amongst us, but Torrential Thrill continue to work on the production of their next studio album, slated for release towards the end of 2021.  The world has been turned upside down and inside out in 2020, but TT is still doing whatever they can to make the noise, teaming up with wunderkind producer Mitch O’Shea for the next album.

Fuelled by the rock and metal giants of the 80s and 90s, where runaway guitar riffs, hard-crunching vocals and drum bass combinations, melt your face and punch you in the feels, Torrential Thrill is raw, rough around the edges and often reckless.  Out of control and not easily offended, this band does not accept “the way things are” because “that’s the way it’s always been done”.  This band is going to wake you up, make you smell the fucking roses, and take on everything that life shoves in your face.
