Australia’s veteran thrash band IN MALICE’S WAKE have finalised recording their 4th full-length album “The Blindness of Faith” and are currently organising details for release. During the studio sessions for this upcoming album, the band found some spare time and decided to complete a studio recorded cover of Morbid Angel’s “Immortal Rites”.
This is a cover that IN MALICE’S WAKE have covered many times during live sets and is a tribute to a the huge influence that MA have had in the bands sound – especially on later albums that have taken on a darker death metal shaded twist. See the previous album “Light Upon the Wicked” for examples of this influence especially.
The cover is coupled with intense pit-footage from a live show in home town Melbourne.
