The quiet, almost quivering aura of the song highlights both the lyrics, impressive in their simplicity and southern spirit, and the irrefutable master status BLACK MIRRORS hold in creation of intriguing and hypnotizing soundscapes, able to persuade even the connoisseurs of the genre!

Singer Marcella states: “The concept behind “Whispering Ghost” goes a bit deeper lyrically as it tells my story about someone very dear to me passing away. We wanted the song to sound like a farewell. Now, every time the audience is singing the melody with us, it feels like a nice goodbye and a tribute to my 19 year old friend who’s sailing away. The vocals on this version go deeper than the original version and we’re very happy with the result.”

The best-kept secret of the Danish underground – A hallucinating Progressive Black Metal offering

In rousing dark euphoria, Danish progressive black metal enigma (0) lifts the veil for their debut album, SkamHan, which will be released on April 24, 2020 via Napalm Records. The offering of black, drone and post metal spiced with intense sludge and progressive influences takes the listener on a labyrinthine journey. Straight from the Danish underground, the anonymous quintet (0) presents seven explosive and dominating tracks.

The opening track, “Tyndere End Hud”, infatuates with intoxicating riffs and forceful growls, drawing its listener into the somber void. The harsh and extreme soundscapes coalescence with the hypnotizing, yet mesmerizing lyric video which picks up the aesthetics of the artfully designed album cover.

The band states: “We’re happy to release the first single from our upcoming album SkamHan, which will be released on April 24th. The lyrics are based on the poem Tyndere end Hud (Thinner than Skin). The theme is broken and fragmented relations due to inner conflicts and difference in hopes and dreams. This is our first single on Napalm Records and we’re thrilled to continue to bring music to our fans and hopefully gain new excited listeners.

Enjoy! (0)“

Two years after their latest chart breaking album, Fury, they’ve reconnected to their roots and choose to reincarnate stronger than ever before. Napalm Records is looking forward to work on a  new record with these exceptional musicians.

Over the course of the past twenty-six years and uncountable worldwide live shows, EKTOMORF have established themselves to a powerful position in the groove/thrash metal scene. Their earthshaking grooves not only perfectly match with Zoli’s rough vocals, but always come along with a critical, strong message. EKTOMORF are tearing down the walls to unite everyone with their mesmerizing, yet energetic sound.

Zoltan “Zoli” Farkas on the signing: “I am very happy and proud to be a part of the Napalm family now. This is definitely a new chapter in my carrier that reaches the next level with the combination of Napalm Records and Napalm Events. Napalm Records is the best label I can imagine to release the new EKTOMORF album and to go new ways together with us.

Napalm Events is very well established by now and I can’t wait to go on a world tour again with the new album and play further countries. I am very thankful to my new manager Tom, he made this work out. We visited together the Napalm team in Berlin last week. We had very good conversations and a lot of fun. The combination of Napalm Records and Napalm Events is really unique because of the close cooperation. I am super motivated and can’t wait to start with the Napalm team. The new chapter starts now!”

Markus Jakob, Napalm Records, adds: ”We’re happy to welcome EKTOMORF to the Napalm family and work hard on both album and live activities! Zoltan for sure is one of the hardest working metal musicians out there and definitely outdid himself on the upcoming record – expect nothing but a cross-generational thrash manifesto! Here’s to a bright and heavy mutual future!”
