Doro

DORO rockin’ the drive-in shows, THE 69 EYES reveal new video ‘Change’ and worldwide live stream, KORPIKLAANI premier their “Masters Of Rock 2014 performance” video.

DORO rocked Worms, Germany last weekend with her incredible drive-in show – the first metal artist to ever attempt this! Hundreds of her fans celebrated famous hits such as ‘Für Immer’, ‘Love Me In Black’ and ‘All For Metal’.
During ‘All We Are’ which was part of the encore, the Metal Queen even climbed down from the stage and sang for fans at their cars – she was greeted enthusiastically by fans and car horns alike.

DORO comments: „Over the last few weeks I’ve really missed my fans and also my band. The drive-in show has been a real unique experience and career highlight for me. It feels great to rock out together again. Hopefully, we can soon enjoy normal shows again as well.”

The 69 Eyes

THE 69 EYES released their apocalyptically titled new album “West End” last fall and started their all year lasting 30th anniversary world tour. Next week, on Friday June 26th, they will be celebrating their three decades by streaming a live show from Helsinki, at 19:00 (BST) and today, they reveal a new video for the song ‘Change’. Watch the clip here.

“THE 69 EYES was on our 30th anniversary tour earlier this year, in the USA, the Baltics, Ukraine and Russia until the pandemic hit. Actually we might even have been the last rock band on stage as we played our last show on March 18th in Samara, Russia!

As this huge “PAUSE” button is pressed down currently, we thought to put out this lyrics video ‘Change’, taken from our new album “West End”. This was the last time we were being filmed on the road, so here’s some memories from that show at The Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood, USA.
We miss the road and our fans like everybody else – that’s why we have our 30th anniversary live stream show on Friday June 26th. Everybody is welcome no matter where you are in this world!”, says singer Jyrki 69

During the live stream, the Helsinki Vampires will rock around the world for their fans live on their screens and the ticket link works for four days after. More expensive ticket allows also for a virtual meet & greet with the band.

Good news for all the folk metal fans missing festivals and concerts: KORPIKLAANI will premier their performance at Masters Of Rock 2014 this Saturday, 18.00 CEST, via Youtube.

Set your reminder for the Youtube premiere here.

The band about the sweet surprise: “Finally we can make our DVD “Live at Masters of Rock” available to everyone. The first in a series of upcoming live shows and streams! We begin with the 2014 show, which is from the Manala tour era. Sami had been in the band for just over a year & Tuomas still looked like a young man!  Masters of Rock is one of our favourite festivals, the audience is truly amazing and you can see this in our faces. The promoter and his entire team also need a special mention as they not only always take good care of us, they made our first ever DVD possible. Another small fun fact, both shows were mixed by Jonne at his home studio.  The 2016 show will be premiered on the 18 July! We also have a special event brewing to be announced soon, stayed tuned, it will make you feel stronger.”

Today, the band released a little event trailer to get the people into the right mood for Saturday evening.
