Sepultura

SEPULTURA welcome FAITH NO MORE’s Billy Gould to their SepulQuarta sessions,
BURNING WITCHES announce livestream this Friday, PRISTINE release lyric video for “Lucid Dream”.

This week, Brazilian heavyweight SEPULTURA welcome a guest to be part of their weekly “SepulQuarta” session: FAITH NO MORE’s Billy Gould will join SEPULTURA’s Paulo Xisto for a live Q&A with their fans!

Join the band this Wednesday at 4PM Brazilian official time (Noon PST and 9PM CET) here:  https://www.sepultura.com.br/sepulquarta

Next to this digital get-together starting at 4.15 PM Brazilian official time (12.15 PST and 9.15PM CET), SEPULTURA come up with the live performance of one of their songs from their quarantines in Brazil and the United States and have a litle chat on stories from the past and anecdotes from their colourful history as a band.

Andreas Kisser about the idea of the SepulQuarta sessions, earlier: “SepulQuarta was born out of the necessity to express ourselves in a different way since we’re all facing a new situation. We came with this idea still influenced by the concept of our last album ‘Quadra’, using geometry, numerology and numbers. Wednesday, which is the fourth day of the week, was chosen for an event.”

The band released their latest album “Quadra” through Nuclear Blast on February, 7th, 2020. The band was scheduled to tour North America past March with SACRED REICH, CROWBAR and ART OF SHOCK. This tour is being rescheduled for Spring 2021.

Burning Witches

The witches still gather, even in times like that: And without the possibility to enjoy ‘real’ concerts, BURNING WITCHES take the concert experiences like many other bands these days to the next level: This Friday, May 29th, the Swiss heavy metal heroines invite to their “Corona Live Accoustic Jam From The Studio”.

Alongside wonderful guests like Courtney Cox (THE IRON MAIDENS), Laura Ernst (ANNA LUX, EX GONOREAS) and Noelle Dos Anjos (NUNGARA, ALKOHOLIKA), the band presents, from 19.00 CET on, an evening full of metal music, passion and black magic. The event will be streamed via the Nuclear Blast Youtube Channel, so set your reminder for the livestream here.

To warm up their fans for this event, the BURNING WITCHES release a trailer today. Check out the video here.

The quintet says, “In these crazy times music is a good vibe and healing for all of us.  Us, the Swiss girls, are doing this jam from the Little Creek studio in Switzerland, where we recorded all our records, while Laura, Courtney and Noelle are home in their countries and connected with us over the internet.”
We are thrilled to present you three fantastic players jamming with us, our passion and love for music unites us all, strengthens our friendship and is of great joy.
We hope this BURNING WITCHES acoustic jam will enlighten the day also for our fans worldwide! Stay healthy and hopefully see you soon on tour again!”

The band released their latest album “Dance With The Devil” this March, 6th. The album was recorded at Swiss Little Creek Studio and produced once again by V.O. Pulver and German thrash titan Schmier. The magnificent cover artwork was created by Hungarian artist Gyula Havancsák (BLIND GUARDIAN TWILIGHT ORCHESTRA, ACCEPT, POWERWOLF, STRATOVARIUS etc.) and DESTRUCTION/GOMORRA guitarist Damir Eskic.

Pristine

Norwegian rock band PRISTINE released their new digital EP “Fireball” on May 8th. The band now offers fans a lyric video for the track “Lucid Dream”.

Check out the video here.

The band states “We’ve always found a lot of inspiration in listening to psychedelic rock, and when we wrote the song Lucid Dream we felt the need to capture a feeling of the folklore mystery we grew up with in Norway, mixed with a melodic melancholy. The lyric is about the place you call home, and how it affects you later in life. To compliment the music we also release a lyric video. Our drummer Ottar placed a camera in his car while driving to his home village, Brensholmen, in the north of Norway. (The video was filmed in april, still a couple of meters of snow..) This became the idea for the back ground graphics for the lyric video.”

The release of the “Fireball” EP surfaces in an unexpected time from the Norwegian rock band PRISTINE. When the world has closed down because of the COVID-19 virus and this pandemic has reached every border, creating confusion and changes that we never would have imagined only a few months ago, PRISTINE wanted to press the pause button and reflect around who we are. This digital EP release is perhaps the most untypical release from the Norwegian rock band and consists of three songs.
