VIDEO PREMIERE: Beast Machine’s new single “Crawling”

Beast Machine

Beast Machine’s new single “Crawling” proves that music can be the elixir of hardship and struggle.

In 2017 Reg contacted Josh about starting the heaviest, fastest, most self-indulgent band they could. A few months later they received an invitation to play in the US.

By this time Pete joined the ranks & by the end of 2017 they travelled over to the US and did a run of shows around California and Nevada. In 2018 they hit the USA for their 2nd tour. This band won’t die wondering about the what if’s? They go for it.

Crawling is the second single from Beast Machine’s blistering self titled debut LP. It’s a 3-minute meandering tale of woe with a relatable lyrical message. ‘Crawling was a form of therapy.

‘Crawling was a form of therapy. At the time making music was about the only thing that got me through the day. I was working a job in a very toxic environment and I had to drag myself out of bed every morning. It felt like I was crawling through the front door unsure of where the next drama was coming from. Drama seemed to be the sport in that place, and there was a feeling of paranoia because everyone was being watched and scrutinised for the smallest of fuck ups. All I wanted to do was get the fuck out of there, problem was there was nowhere else to go.’ Reg Barber ( Vox/Guitar)

Armed with swinging grooves and heavy broods, ‘Time Slowed Down’ captures the anguished despair when all hope seems lost, complete with fizzing riffs and rasping vocals as the Beast Machine gents dip hard into their rock and roll armory. The Soundcheck

Crawling  leads into the release of their self-titled debut LP released 25 th March. The LP was recorded @ the studio that belonged to Elliot Smith. He bought the consoles used to make some of the classic albums by  Elton John & The Police. Production work was done by LA based  Luke Gerard Webb (Australian Producer, Engineer). He’s  worked with top international acts such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Panic at the Disco, The Dead Kennedys and The Ataris

The boy’s promise that the album will swing and hit hard.
