Caligula’s Horse, hailing from Brisbane, Australia, are a leading light in contemporary progressive metal worldwide. The band released their fifth studio album Rise Radiant in May of 2020 just as the pandemic was hitting and as with many bands worldwide, postponed a lot of their plans and schedules. They finally return to the live stage in January of 2022 at the first ever UNCAGED festival in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney so we had a chat to guitarist Sam Vallen about the upcoming shows and the impact of not being able to play live.
Rock fans on a whole, rejoice. 2022 brings in a new summertime festival just in time for our lockdown shackles to be removed and for us to rediscover the simple joys of live music and community. Uncaged (Presented by Silverback Touring) is the newest rock festival on the Australian festival circuit and packs a punch of musical diversity catering to fans of hard rock, alternative, pop punk, prog, metal and everything in between.
