Los Angeles hard rockers SLIZARD have released a music video for their cover version of Scorpions “Still Loving You“. The music video was edited by Slizard percussionist Todd “Toad” Resmen, and features lead vocalist Liz Fawcett on piano. The track was produced by Chris Wood. The Video can be viewed below.

SLIZARD guitarist Pat “Buzz” Belrose shares his comments on the Video: “Nosferatu strikes again with an irresistible attraction felt by his victims. Slizard pay our profound gratitude to the Scorpions for such a brilliant and beautiful song, and to ‘The Noss’ for his masterful performance of Dracula, or shall we say Nosferatu”.

SLIZARD recently signed a worldwide deal with Mega Metal Records a sublabel of Canadian label Maple Metal to release their self-titled debut album on May 28th. However the Scorpions cover track will not be included in the release of their debut album, but two Album teasers from their debut can be streamed below.

The band was formed in 2019, and features LA singer Liz Fawcett on vocals, Pat “Buzz” Belrose on guitars, bass & vocals, and Todd “Toad” Resmen on drums. Singing sensation Liz Fawcett has been described by a few LA music industry reps as a “badass” singer with an instantly recognizable voice.

Pat “Buzz” Belrose has previously played guitar for LA bands Spoiled Rotten, and World Jungle who were popular acts, especially on the local LA scene in the 90’s, but has also recorded 2 albums with Canadian metal band JADE in the mid-80’s. Buzz currently also has his own band appropriately named BUZZ ZA.

SLIZARD’s album cover art is designed by well-known Finnish artist Jan Yrlund, of Darkgrove Studios, Tampere, FI.

SLIZARD is produced & mixed by Chris Wood, a 3-time Grammy Award nominated L.A. producer, & mix engineer. Chris Wood has worked with a variety of artists in multiple music genres, but in the rock world most notably with Slash, Lenny Kravitz, Vivian Campbell guitarist of Dio and Def Leppard.

The album is mastered by Chris Crerar at Metalworks Studios (Guns N’ Roses, Rush, Triumph) in Toronto, Canada.
