From the team behind 2020’s hugely successful Music From The Home Front Anzac Day televised event and weekly music television series The Sound, comes 2021 SOUNDS BETTER TOGETHER, a special live music event beamed straight into living rooms around Australia this Saturday 30 January on Nine at 7.30pm.

2021 SOUNDS BETTER TOGETHER will feature performances and highlights from a raft of the nation’s greatest talent, filmed live across eight days of COVIDSafe concerts in some of Victoria’s most breathtaking indoor and outdoor, regional and metro venues. Showcasing the likes of Jimmy Barnes, Tones And I, Missy Higgins, James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, The Teskey Brothers, Archie Roach, Ross Wilson, Birds Of Tokyo (with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra), The Living End, Something For Kate, Vika & Linda, Gordi and many more – plus special surprises and collaborations – the 2.5 hour-long music spectacular will celebrate Australia’s incredible talent.

2021 SOUNDS BETTER TOGETHER will broadcast live from the Mallacoota Oval, which is preparing for a visit from some of Australia’s favourite artists on the weekend: James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Vika & Linda and Mia Wray. Ravaged by the 2020 bushfires, Mallacoota is getting back on its feet, with the local community gearing up to welcome the return of live music with a very special event on Saturday night.

Nine host David Campbell will be joined by radio and television star Jane Gazzo, talented podcaster Kate Gudinski, and Nine News reporter Madeline Slattery for special behind-the-scenes access and artist interviews on the night.

Tune into Nine this Saturday 30 January at 7.30pm, and 9Now 7.30pm AEDT, for an exciting evening of music television complete with special guests, unexpected collaborations… and a few special surprises.
