Melbourne hard-rock quartet Dracorex have announced their next hometown headline show at The Bendigo Hotel on May 21st 2021 with support from The Crookeds, Torrential Thrill and Hellz Abyss.

The event has been named “Beerocalypse” as the band have said “this night will spell the end of all beer in the venue” with the bold claims to out-party every band before them. Dracorex have stated that this performance will include performances of unreleased material slated for inclusion on their forthcoming record.

Dracorex has been moving from strength to strength since their launch in early 2020. Debuting to a sold out crowd and releasing new music every other month over the course of the lockdown period. Post lockdown, the group managed to return to the stage to another sold out show supporting Australian power-metal group Espionage. This show will be their first headline outing for the year.

“We really want to make this night one that cunts remember for years to come ” says frontman James Brennan, bassist Jake Schembri also commented: “I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been up to. The new shit rips asshole and we’ve been working on a cover that set a high melodic and tech standard in the 70s that we’re making our own. It will leave you with shit in your pants, you may want bring a spare set, or wear nothing at all”
