After recently releasing their third full-length album, Inertia, via Napalm Records, Greek modern metal five-piece SCAR OF THE SUN now drops an intense lyric video for album closing song “Anastasis”, which in their native language means “resurrection”. Its heaviness, together with an emotional vocal performance from singer Terry Nikas, immediately indicates a deep, personal meaning that pierces the listener to the bone.
Terry Nikas on the song: “‘Anastasis’ is the closing song of our new album Inertia, definitely it is emotionally the heaviest song we have ever created. It’s an homage to a very close person of mine and I felt like doing something in order never to be forgotten. It’s something everyone can relate. Life is full of scars and I wanted to make this scar stand out of the rest.”

Within the first ten seconds of their new single “Hypercube Necrodimensions”, wizard metal-supergroup WIZARDTHRONE (featuring members from ALESTORM, GLORYHAMMER, AETHER REALM, FORLORN CITADEL, NEKROGOBLIKON and more) goes full throttle with their multi-layered synth and guitar riffs, combined with gut-busting vocal deliveries! The title track from WIZARDTHRONE’s debut full-length, Hypercube Necrodimensions (out July 16 via Napalm Records), is a speedy burst through time and space that will catapult the listener through alternate realities.
With their new track, the five-piece once again demonstrate what they are made of musically, combining their various genre influences with sonically refined finesse to create a fast-paced cyclone of extremes!

Archistrategos Barber (guitars) elaborates: “With the title track, “Hypercube Necrodimensions”, we stripped down the core elements of WIZARDTHRONE to their bare essentials, culminating in a compact and furious number. Unconventional harmonies, dense orchestration and blazing thrash metal provided a fitting bed for lyrics that had lain dormant for at least a thousand aeons – exploring cryptic themes that the shrewd and astute will of course recognise as containing the blueprints to reality itself. Extraordinary!”

The differing musical backgrounds and previous experiences of the musicians have formed a creative space of development for SILENT SKIES, taking the listener on a touching, melancholic journey and convincing with captivating talent. They are currently working on a successor to their stunning 2020 debut full-length.
