Originally announced in early 2020, Steel Panther’s ‘Heavy Metal Rules’ tour alongside their good mates Sevendust has been re-scheduled a couple of times now – and though it has definitely felt like being edged for 18 months, they are now announcing when Fanthers will absolutely get to experience their release!

The wildest, wettest, dirtiest, hardest, heaviest, most rocking heavy metal tour to hit Australia and New Zealand shores ever in the history of anything ever will FINALLY come *giggles* in October 2022. The ‘HEAVY METAL RULES TOUR’ re-scheduled dates are as follows:

Monday, 17th October 2022 – Powerstation, Auckland, New Zealand
Wednesday, 19th October 2022 – Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Newcastle, Australia
Friday, 21st October, 2022 – Hordern Pavilion, Sydney, Australia
Saturday, 22nd October, 2022 – Eatons Hill, Brisbane, Australia
Sunday, 23rd October, 2022 – Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne, Australia

Brisbane’s Eaton’s Hill Hotel tour stop remains an outdoor event/mini-festival, with Dead Letter Circus, Lagerstein, Devilskin (NZ) and Bare Bones on board to bring the party all day and all night long!

INFO ABOUT STEEL PANTHER AND SEVENDUST

For the uninitiated, Steel Panther was formed in 2000 and is comprised of Michael Starr (lead singer), Satchel (guitarist) and Stix Zadinia (drums). Original Steel Panther bassist Lexxi Foxx quit the band earlier this year to “his side business ‘Sexy Lexxi’s Prettiest Pets’ to bring in money for Botox during the lockdown.” Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicentre for rock n’ roll in all its debauchery and glamour, Steel Panther has established themselves as the world’s premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks. Steel Panther is a global phenomenon with four full-length albums, touring across the world, platinum-level YouTube status and a #13 debut for the new album Heavy Metal Rules on the ARIA charts.
Rolling Stone avowed, “There’s a reason Steel Panther have transcended their origins as a cover band playing the Sunset Strip,” while Metal Sucks declared, “Steel Panther’s concept is genius…their songwriting is…preposterously snappy – and relatable.”
Along for the ride are Sevendust, who were last here in 2019 on their tour celebrating the 2018 album ‘All I See is War’. While demonstrating their musical mastery accumulated over more than 25 years as a band and simultaneously destroying all expectations for their live show, Sevendust show no signs of slowing down. To this day, the connection between fans and the GRAMMY® Award-nominated gold-certified hard rock outfit only grows stronger.
