Hailing from rural Victoria comes the 4-piece thrash metal act Firing Squad. Starting off as an idea during the middle of a pandemic, things quickly came to life when the band members all got in a rehearsal room with their instruments and a case of beer. Just like the riffs, the songs came fast too. By sending friends low quality rehearsal demos it wasn’t long before the show offers came flooding in.
The band soon hit up Luke Walton at Danger Tone Studios to smash out their first single titled “Gods Of War”. The track follows a passionate subject and interest on war history, and the sacrifice many men and women have made. This is just a rain drop in the ocean of what’s to come from Firing Squad. Grab a beer and get ready to bang your head.
