Ex- De La Cruz frontman Roxxi Catalano is back with a new song and a new line up, Following the break up of his former band Roxxi formed Catalano, the band previously released two albums: 2016’s ‘Dark Skies’ and 2020’s ‘Nightfighter’.
Catalano recently released their first song in over two years, an electrifying track that straddles the line between hard rock and heavy metal titled “Go to hell”.
Furious guitars and blasting drums provide the backdrop to Roxxi Catalano’s scathing lyrics which detail his feelings towards the establishment, what he observed in the government’s abuse of power over the population, and telling them all you can go to hell!
Vocally, Roxxi sounds a lot like early Joe Elliott but with a lot more venom, his lyrics on this song are very pointed and I imagine I won’t be the only one who relates to his sentiment in this song.
The guitar playing on this track is excellent and the tone used in it is rich, this is sonically the best this band has sounded to date, there’s a positively incendiary guitar solo in this track as well. Hopefully this will be part of a future third album, though no full release has currently been announced.
A lyric video for “Go to hell” can be viewed on YouTube and the song is available to stream on various streaming services.
