DYLAN GERS releases collaboration with NOAH YORKE – ‘RED SKIES’

An emphatic return for Dylan Gers as this time he teams up with Noah Yorke for their upcoming collaboration single ‘Red Skies’ available on all streaming platforms on December 2nd through independent record label sly-tone.

‘Red Skies’ has a more textured and more detailed approach than the last offering that Dylan produced with ‘Moon Rise’.

Starting with a lone acoustic accompanied with a flanger, phaser and reverb playing a melody which immediately captures the listener’s attention, then moments later, harmonics which weave in and out to illustrate tension. A 12-stringed guitar played by Noah is then heard to accompany the other and thus being the verse and the rest of this piece of music.

In light of all this, Dylan responds, “I can’t wait for all of you to hear this, I’m truly more excited with this than anything I’ve done in my life”.

If the surnames ring bells it is because Dylan is the son of Iron Maiden guitarist Janick Gers, with Noah Yorke is the son of Radiohead’s Thom Yorke. Strong pedigree’s working together to help safe guard the future of music? We can only hope.
