Melbourne band Excuse for an Exit announce fierce and fast LGBTQ+ anthem ‘Not Here For You’ following explosive 2021 lockdown anthems ‘Ugly Cry’ and ‘Death of Me’.

Since their dynamic debut on the Melbourne alternative scene in 2019, Excuse for an Exit have taken no prisoners. Their premiere singles ‘Here Again’ and ‘Take Me Out’ scored them air-time on Triple J’s Home & Hosed and Short.Fast.Loud, rave reviews from several Unearthed presenters, and a place on Spotify’s coveted ‘Rock Out’ playlist.
Even lockdown couldn’t hold Excuse back, releasing their long anticipated debut EP ‘Hot Mess’ in 2020, followed by their explosive 2021 lockdown anthems ‘Ugly Cry’ and ‘Death of Me’ produced by Chris Vernon (Bellehaven, Deadlights, Stuck Out, etc.).
After headlining Melbourne stages, and supporting slots for the likes of Future Static and The Last Martyr, Excuse are wrapping up 2022 with their no-holds barred LGBTQ+ anthem ‘Not Here For You’. Due out on all platforms October 28th, the track will make it’s stage debut in November!
