Sun Traitors are back with a tasty new single, Crossroads, due out on Friday, May 27th. After releasing their debut EP, Dark Matter, in 2020, they’ve been hard at work on a new set of tunes. Crossroads is a riff-tastic hard rock explosion with Jim’s vocals punching through with an anthem of a chorus!

Established in 2018 with their debut release, Sun Traitors have been a mainstay in Melbourne’s live music scene, whether it be on the stage or to support the local community. The creative engine of the band comes from Jim Charlemagne on lead vocals and guitar, backed up by Iggy Torres on drums.
In 2020, Sun Traitors released their second EP, Dark Matter, through Melbourne based independent record label Headstone Records. The EP saw the band take a darker turn lyrically as they explored themes of resentment and depression and the personal journey one goes through to find empowerment and creative freedom.
Sun Traitors supported A Gazillion Angry Mexicans, Planet of the 8s, Eat The Damn Orange, and Warbirds along with many other great acts. They’ve played to audiences at many local Melbourne haunts including The Workers Club and Cherry Bar.
Headstone Records founder, Dave Warner, recorded Sun Traitors tunes at the home base Studio One.Be after the guys had spent years rehearsing and supporting other artists out of the studio. Sun Traitors live by the community spirit fostered by Headstone turning up to everyone’s gigs and throttling their mate’s tunes into the spotlight. So it’s an absolute pleasure to return the favor!
