Sydney rockers Whiteford have released The Acoustic EP via XMusic. The Acoustic EP is a collection of tracks from the debut album, in an MTV unplugged style performance, that includes a version of their new single “She’s Amazing”, “She Joins Love” and a killer cover of “Rocking in The Free World”.

Emerging in 2016 with their debut EP, Whiteford quickly earned a reputation as one Sydney’s most exciting up and coming rock acts. In 2018 the band released their self titled album which featured live favourites “She Joins Love” and “Words Like Bullets” both of which scored airplay on radio stations across the country and received high praise from global rock media. On the anniversary of their debut album release, Whiteford returned to the studio to record The Acoustic EP which is their first release through their new home at XMusic.
On the EP the band add “We wanted to do something to celebrate the anniversary of our debut album and to introduce some new singles off is as well. So we went to the studio to record the original singles, the upcoming singles, a crowd favourite and a surprise cover in an acoustic style reminiscent of the MTV Unplugged TV show that ran from the early 90’s till just before 2010. We had a ton of fun recording it and the whole EP has a great “live” feel in an “unplugged” setting, it’s not your usual “unplugged ” recording that’s for sure!”

Having many years of on stage and in studio experience, they are ready to break out of the local scene and onto the festival circuit and larger stages.
