Formed in 1990, they rose to prominence during the fertile Brit Pop years, alongside comrades Pulp, Blur, Oasis, Shed 7, Menswear and Sleeper. Their album Free Peace Sweet peaked at #7 on the UK charts and by March 1997 had sold 400,000 copies. The album contained the singles ‘Good Enough’ (#4), ‘In A Room’, ‘If You’re Thinking of Me’ and ‘Found You’.
DODGY were tabloid fodder when Britpop ruled the world in the mid-90s and ‘Good Enough’ soundtracked the Summer of 1996.
DODGY have enjoyed a career that many musicians dream of. Despite a little break halfway through the 00s, they have continuously released loved records, amassing new fans with each release.
